Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum there's no denying that these things have presence!
Although not exactly small, Panerai do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised, with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand. Especially when finished in titanium...
Coming in at 47mm in diameter, this particular Luminor features a hand-cranking movement, a sapphire display caseback, and a the watches party-piece - an "Equation of Time" complication, as displayed on the dial. Parerai describes The Equation of Time as: "the difference between the mean time and the true time indicated by the solar meridian and it is the result of the combination of the Earth’s inclination and its elliptical orbit."
Very cool.
Additionally, this watch has a GMT complication and a power reserve indicator on the back of the movement.
This example comes complete with its original box, books, an extra rubber strap, and polishing cloth. This is a great opportunity to take Panerai's latest and greatest out for a spin!
