Panerai Radiomir 8-Days

Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum, there's no denying that these things have presence! Although by no means diminutive, Panerai watches — with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand — do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised.  This PAM992 Radiomir 8 Days from the 2020s is a prime example: Housed in a 45mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a signed crown, it wears surprisingly comfortably despite its large profile. Featuring a luminous matte black dial with a matching blued-steel handset, and a sub-seconds display at 9 o’clock, it’s powered by Panerai’s hand-wound Calibre P.5000 movement with an incredible 8 days of power reserve, and comes paired to a signed brown leather strap with a signed stainless steel pin buckle. In excellent condition and accompanied by its factory goodies, this PAM992 constitutes an excellent entry point into the brand’s in-house offerings. Hefty and military-inspired, it’s a no-nonsense watch that gets the job done. You know what we’re gonna say: Don’t pass this one by!
