If you try to convince us that there is a contemporary brand more successfully iterating a collection of already winning sports watches than Tudor, we'll have to have words.
Every year for nearly a decade we’ve seen one home-run release after another. Take the unexpected Pelagos FXD featuring a unique utilitarian titanium case with fixed spring bars. Or how about the Black Bay 54 with its surprisingly svelte proportions and charming aesthetic? The Black Bay Pro … the Black Bay Bronze … the Black Bay Silver … the list goes on and on.
Then there’s the Tudor Pelagos 39 — a downsized and simplified version of its professional-grade big brother — arguably the best of the contemporary bunch!
The Reference M25407N features a tidier 39mm titanium case with luminous 60-click bezel, sapphire crystal, signed screw-down crown and 200 meters of water resistance. Its subtly sunburst-patterned black dial is stark and highly legible and features applied hour indices, Tudor's signature ‘snowflake’ handset and four lines of text topped by ‘Pelagos’ script in red.
Powered by Tudor’s COSC-certified Calibre MT5400 with a weekend-proof 70-hour power reserve, this piece comes fitted to a fantastic titanium bracelet with the brand’s proprietary ‘T-Fit’ clasp. This example is in outstanding, lightly-used condition and is accompanied by a signed black rubber strap with titanium pin buckle, an extra dive extension half-strap, its inner and outer box set, books, and warranty card from March, 2023.
As far as we're concerned, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better everyday diver on the market right now.
Or do you want to take this outside?
