There is seemingly no end to the variety of watches that Omega can come up when they draw from their own history and previous models.
Take the Seamaster Railmaster Co-Axial Master Chronometer, for example: Introduced at Baselworld in 2017, this contemporary interpretation Omega's 1957 watch originally designed to resist heavy magnetic fields draws from its ancestor while incorporating modern features.
This particular example from the 2020s is housed in a 40mm stainless steel ‘twisted lug’ case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a brushed stainless steel bezel. It features a luminous brushed gray dial with printed Arabic numerals, a matching handset, and an outer ‘railroad’ minute track.
Powered by the automatic Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 movement, it can resist magnetic fields of up to 15,000 Gauss and has a power reserve of 55 hours. Furthermore, it’s in as-new condition and ships on its stainless steel bracelet with a signed hidden deployant clasp.
