Sears Exotic Dial Chronograph

Not gonna lie, this is something we haven't seen before!
Sears (as in Sears & Roebuck) branded chronographs aren't particularly unusual. The 130 year old department store was considerably more interesting in the 1960s and 70s and at the time sold a variety of timepieces featuring their name on the dial. These watches were of ranging quality, from high end to outright shit, but a number of their chronographs were built by Heuer under contract, and all of those are pretty damned cool.
We've offered a few Sears branded pieces before, and have told the story of the "Poor Man's Heuers" time and again, but this one is a little different. Sharing the same movement as the popular "Jacky Ickx" chronographs, this particular piece is styled in the same vein as the Heuer Camaro models, but sizes in a couple millimeters smaller. With an "exotic" multicolor dial and luminous Monaco-style hands, this rare piece has a distinctive Heuer flair, and a quintessential 70s appeal.
It probably won't obtain any merit of distinction amongst the Heuer-elite, but will certainly raise a few eyebrows - and put a smile on your face when you strap it on!
