Panerai Radiomir 'Black Seal'

Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum, there's no denying that these things have presence! Although by no means diminutive, Panerai watches — with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand — do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised.  This PAM00380 from the 2010s is a prime example: Housed in a 45mm stainless steel cushion case with a sapphire crystal, wire lugs, a signed ‘onion’ crown, and a polished bezel, it features a luminous matte black dial with a matching handset, and a sub-seconds display at 9 o’clock. And believe it or not, despite its proportions on paper, it wears like a dream! Powered by the OPII manually wound movement with 56 hours of power reserve and outfitted to a brown leather strap with a signed, stainless steel pin buckle, it’s in excellent condition and ships with its factory goodies. If you’ve been hesitant to take the ‘Panerai plunge,’ we can hardly suggest a better watch with which to do it.
