Panerai means different things to different collectors, but wherever you stand on the spectrum, there's no denying that these things have presence! Although not exactly small, Panerai watches do have a way of wearing smaller than advertised, with their excellent "cushion" case design that has become synonymous with the brand — particular the Radiomir examples with their wire lugs. This particular piece, a Reference PAM00070, features a 40mm stainless steel cushion case with a guarded, locking crown, a sapphire crystal, a polished bezel, and a cool matte blue dial with luminous 'dash' and 'Arabic' indices, a magnified date window at 3 o'clock, a running seconds display at 9 o'clock, and a luminous 'sword' handset. It comes fitted to a signed Panerai strap with a signed steel pin buckle and is powered by an automatic winding movement. It also includes its box and warranty card dated 2001.
