Rolex Daytona Steel with Arabic Racing Dial Box & Papers

You've heard our schtick on modern watches before.  You know that we occasionally present contemporary timepieces that speak to us.  Well, this one is screaming at us. You already know the Daytona story, so we'll spare you on regurgitating it yet again.  We've yet to meet any collector or enthusiast who doesn't desire one for their collection, and for good reason.  Rolex's brilliant motorsports chronograph is a winner in any variant, vintage or modern.  And while current ones admittedly don't do as much for us as a nicely aged example, this is a great example of well-executed customization on a contemporary reference that ticks all the right boxes. What you're looking at is a 10-month-old Reference 116520 steel Daytona that was fitted with a genuine red Arabic "racing" dial, handset, and 18K White Gold bezel from the Reference 116509 - the version cased entirely in White Gold.  This stunning dial and hands combination is only available on the 116509 version, and the parts had to be specially ordered for the original owner at considerable expense.  The swap was performed by an Authorized Rolex Dealer at the time of original sale (December, 2013). The sharp charcoal-colored dial featuring Arabic numerals and coupled with the red elements on the chapter ring, subsidiary dials, and chrono sweep hand give this watch a tremendously sporty look, while the solid white gold bezel lends a touch of elegance.  For those who desire the looks of the WG version but prefer the durability of a steel case, this is a perfect combination and will be the envy of many.  This particular example also features all the original components, original booklets, guarantee paperwork, boxes, and hang tag.  Everyone wants a Daytona.  Don't get the same one as everyone else.   PRICE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST!
