Breitling Chronomat GMT

Breitling has long been purveyor of chronographs to pilots, having designed models such as 1942’s Chronomat from the ground as a no-nonsense instrument for use in the cockpit. The Chronomat has evolved significantly since those days, retaining its aeronautical influence but greatly expanding upon its remit to include features such as dive watch-like water resistance and chronometer-grade accuracy. This particular watch, a Chronomat GMT, is inspired by models from the 1980s. Housed in a 44mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, screw-down pushers, and a steel timing bezel, it features a black dial with applied luminous indices, a tachymeter scale, a triple-register chronograph, a matching handset, and a handy date window at 4:30. Powered by the automatic, chronometer-certified Breitling B04 in-house movement, it comes paired to a multi-link stainless steel bracelet.
