Tudor Fastrider Black Shield

The Fastrider Black Shield chronograph is the black leather-clad bad boy Tudor/Ducati mashup we didn’t know we needed. One of Tudor’s coolest contemporary chronos, this Reference 42000CR features a 42mm matte black, bead-blasted ceramic and stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal, signed screwdown crown, blacked out bezel with tachymeter scale etchings, ‘mushroom’ chronograph pushers and a Ducati logo inspired shield emblem on the 9 o’clock side which cleverly doubles up as recessed date corrector.  With a matte black dial housing a trio of tone on tone subsidiary registers, applied red indices, a matching skeletonized handset and a circle date aperture at 4:30, this piece is stealthy with a decidedly aggressive design language perfect for sportbike - or perhaps ballistic missile submarine - culture.  Powered by the self-winding Valjoux Calibre 7753, this piece is fitted to a black leather strap with red stitching (natch) and a signed, blackened steel locking clasp with ceramic components. In virtually brand-spanking new condition with only light signs of wear from careful handling this piece is a hard to find piece that was in production for a very short time!
