It is among the most iconic designs in horological history — the Cartier Tank, transcending the passing fancies of trend and remaining as elegant as it ever was. However, there are many iterations of the famed wristwatch from Cartier, including slightly different takes such as the Tank Francaise. The Tank Francaise retains much of the elegant lines of Louis Cartier’s early-20th century design, with just a few minor changes and the option for a bracelet. This particular example, dates to circa the 2010s and features a 28mm stainless steel case with a matching bracelet, a sapphire crystal, Cartier's signature sapphire cabochon crown, a beautiful white guilloche dial with printed 'Roman' indices and matching blued-steel 'sword' handset, and an automatic winding movement within.
