Hermès Slim D'Hermès

Much like Cartier, Hermès is a brand that has historically been about design first, function second. With that said, their involvement with watchmaking dates back over 100 years, and if you look at their portfolio, you will find beautiful objects often incorporating clever uses of leatherwork to round-out their offerings.  That being said, in recent years, Hermès has shaken the watch world with not only new, modern, and original designs - but also with their push into developing their own movements in partnership with Voucher. This model, introduced in 2015, features a 39.5mm case, minimalist opaline silver dial layout, and bespoke micro-rotor movement - all in a case that is just over 7mm thick. This package was immediately praised by publications and enthusiasts alike for its wonderfully executed package and wearability. We feel the same and love the direction that Hermes is headed, so take note!
