Wittnauer Fantasia

One factor that we feel differentiates the Analog:Shift approach to vintage timepiece dealings are that we readily step outside the box to source some incredibly interesting and unusual watches for your consideration.   This lovely timepiece by Wittnauer, formally known as a Reference 2367, is more commonly referred to as a 'Fantasia' - which is the style of hoop and stick handset attached. More commonly seen on the electrically driven Electro-chron line, this beauty is a thin-cased manual winder wearing a domed acrylic crystal over its textured corduroy-like dial. Paired up with a period steel mesh bracelet by JB Champion with Wittnauer-signed clasp, this great little watch is a real treasure. Measuring 33.5mm in diameter with a 9mm thickness, this piece wears much larger than expected and showcases an undeniably cool mid-century design language!
