Our love of Speedmasters is pretty apparent we'd say - with lengthy descriptions and stories recounting the tales of the original rocket men and their magnificent machines regularly gracing these electronic pages. While we are generally describing Speedies from the Apollo era, we absolutely have an appreciation for their modern counterparts and maintain that buying a more contemporary model is far from the worst way to spend your hard-earned money! Indeed, we have steered many a friend in the direction of a modern Speedy when the situation calls for it - and let's face it, there are occasions in which wearing something newer and capable of taking a bit of a beating is desirable. This particular model, a Speedmaster reduced, features a salmon sunburst dial housed in a sharp 39mm stainless steel case with barrel pushers. Outfitted on a multi-link stainless steel bracelet with a signed locking clasp, this piece comes powered by an automatic movement and a convenient date display at 3 o’clock  It’s safe to consider this a very affordable and equally attractive alternative to its vintage counterparts. This particular piece was introduced in the late 90s to celebrate 40 years of the Grand Prix. This rare Speedy is in fantastic condition considering its age, and affords a unique opportunity to get a famous model in a striking dial combination.
