Longines is a brand that needs no introduction. It was a staple of the Swiss watchmaking industry throughout the 20th century, well known for its broad assortment of models and designs as well as its masterful (and iconic) chronographs. Today, it continues to churn out handsome and reliable pieces by the millions...but there's something about its vintage wares that captures the imagination. This incredible ladies' cocktail watch from the 1920s is one such piece. Housed in a 15mm oval-shaped case with an unsigned, decorative winding crown, an acrylic crystal, and a white and black diamond-studded bezel, it features a heavily patinated, parchment-colored dial with stylized, 'Breguet'-like black indices and a matching 'Breguet' handset.  Powered by a hand-wound Longines movement and paired to an integrated, white and black diamond-set 'rope' bracelet with a hook-and-loop clasp, this piece reveals further wonders when turned over: Its caseback and caseband are beautifully decorated with intricate floral motifs, indicating a highly sophisticated and considered design.
