SWATCH No Time To Die Q 2020 James Bond Collection

Are you a 007 fan? Then pay attention, because if you can’t get your hands on a “Big Crown” Submariner or a Seamaster equipped with a laser, this may be the next best thing: In 2020 Swatch released a series of watches called the Swatch X 007 Tribute Collection, inspired by classic James Bond films. Fun, lightweight and affordable, they’re an enjoyable entry point into 007-themed watch collecting that need not bankrupt the collector. Each watch in the lineup features a plastic case, a quartz movement, and a matching rubber strap. Perfect for everyday wear or — if you’re a serious collector — for hoarding, these are the kinds of entry-level, battery-powered watches we can get behind. However, Swatch also released a special entry in celebration of No Time to Die and dedicated to Q, Bond’s MI6-employed quartermaster.  Designed with Sittirat Anne Larlarb, the film’s costume designer, it’s housed in a 41mm stainless steel SKIN Irony case and features an unsigned crown, a polished bezel, a skeletonized dial with a stainless steel hour track and blue dart indices as well as a matching red handset. It’s fitted to a tartan plaid brown leather strap with red edges and is powered by a quartz movement.  In near-mint, complete condition with its ephemera, this James Bond-inspired Swatch is perfect for the 007 devotee.
