Ladies' watches, unfortunately, don’t get the attention they deserve. It seems to be assumed that women are fine with shoddily designed timepieces devoid of soul. Of course, this is nonsense — there’s no reason whatsoever that a lady’s watch should be any less considered than a man’s! Gianni Bulgari, a watch designer and third-generation member of the famed Greek-Italian jewelry dynasty, clearly doesn't feel this way. In 1989, following the sale of his stake in the Bulgari company to his family, he established a new watchmaking firm called GB Enigma in Switzerland to design compelling timepieces with unusual designs.  This particular Enigma, a Spyder II, is emblematic of the firm's bold design philosophy: Housed in a rectangular 20mm stainless steel case with a blue cabochon crown and a sapphire crystal, it features a smooth black coated steel housing diamond-set "12" and 6" indices, plus a handsome black Arto Deco-style dial with rectangular indices and a steel 'dauphine' handset.  Powered by a hardy quartz movement and paired to a matching steel multi-link bracelet with a signed steel pin buckle, this elegant dress watch also ships with its complete kit. For someone on the hunt for a glitzy timepiece to accompany an elegant night at a soirée or gala, it's an ideal choice.
