Royce Super Compressor Diver

One of the most common requests we get are for affordable vintage super compressors, and it's truly no surprise to us. Super compressor watches, noted for their unique water proofing system and recognizable twin-crown display, these peices have an incredible degree of cool and pack vintage charm to the nines. If you're here, you know we have a particular affection for off-brand timepieces- there are an untold number of fantastic watches that combine sharp looks, robust build quality, and time-tested movements just as well as the bigger names at a fraction of the price. If you've never heard of Royce before, we wouldn't blame you. While the brand dates back to the 1920's, they spent decades turning out simple, reliable watches with high-grade cases and movements before falling victim to the quartz crisis like so many other brands. This particular piece is an example of Royce at its best. An Incabloc dial, black display, and date at 3 o'clock, this watch looks much like JLC dive watches, and many of the more expensive vintage divers we love to collect. Equipped with a super compressor case, cross-hatch engraved twin crowns, an internal rotating bezel and one of our vibrant Analog:Shift leather straps, this piece gives you a window into that world at a fraction of the cost and with lots of mechanical and vintage intrigue to fall back on.
