Universal Genève Polerouter Jet

Very rare is the watch that can check multiple boxes in the hearts and heads of watch collectors, which is the very reason that any collector — or future collector — needs a Polerouter.
With its ties to the great Gerald Genta — who was only 24 when he designed it — stunning looks, a horologically-significant movement and an interesting history to boot, the Polerouter is that one amazing value proposition that punches far above its weight class.
This particular Polerouter, a Reference 10369-4, dates to the 1950s and features a gold case with faceted, twisted lugs, a signed crown, and an acrylic crystal. Inside, it has a lovely, flawless satin silver dial with applied indices, a matching 'dauphine' handset, and a UG automatic winding 'Microtor' movement.
With the recent acquisition of Universal Geneve, there has been a much deserved surge in interest in vintage UG watches--- especially the Polerouter. The perfect balance of dressy materials/ finishes and subtle detailing helps make these watches smash a sweetspot for everyday wearability. Comfortable, versatile, timeless in appeal and classic in aesthetic, it's hard to beat a Polerouter from any era.
When you strap it on your wrist you’ll quickly see why collectors are always on the hunt for exceptional Polerouters such as this one!
