Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 'MOP' Ladies Diamonds

One name: Gerald Genta. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is perhaps Genta’s most memorable work, and in many ways changed the shape of the watch industry. The Royal Oak essentially created an entirely new category of 'luxury sport' timepieces, and with it came a new design language which inspired countless other manufactures. What's particularly delightful about the design of the Royal Oak is that it works brilliantly in a number of sizes and casing materials, from steel to carbon fiber or solid gold. This Royal Oak is a smaller model, but packs a ton of punch: Housed in a petite case, it features a sapphire crystal, a unique blue mother of pearl dial with lovely applied diamond indices and a matching handset, and a matching integrated bracelet. The diamond settings really do wonders to accentuate the design of the bezel and alongside the cooler tones of the blueish mother of pearl dial, this piece has an elegant, refined finish to it. In excellent condition, this small reference possesses all of the iconic features that the larger variants do - but just packing a little more punch.
