Technos Hawk Borazon 'Tiger's Eye' Tungsten

Technos watches were produced under the careful eye of a family of watchmakers in Switzerland for nearly 80 years before the brand was consumed by the Japanese market. During that time, Technos produced excellent watches in a variety of designs and functions. This piece is an example of the out-of-the-box thinking that led the brand through its years of production. A 'Hawk' diver style watch, this piece has an incredible Tiger's Eye dial, tungsten case, and monolithic case structure. This piece from a design standpoint screams 70s, but pairs its overbuilt structure with tungsten, a material that is almost never used in watchmaking just because of its sheer strength and hardness. It is a complete pain to work with, but its difficulty in manufacture makes it a resilient material on the wrist. Similarly Tiger's Eye on the dial allows this piece to have a decidedly exciting personality. Don't let this piece pass you by, you aren't likely to see another for a while!
