Utilizing its custom Trip-Tick cases and modified Swiss calibers tuned to Chronometer grade, Bremont's collection showcases the passion for engineering and aviation that the owners, Nick & Giles English, hold close to their hearts. We're suckers for timepieces with soul, and Bremont has it in spades. The particular Bremont that we have here is an Airco Mach 3. Named after the famed Aircraft Manufacturing Company, Ltd, one of Britain’s original aircraft manufacturers, it riffs on classic pilot’s watch themes while conveying a decidedly dressy look. Housed in a 40mm stainless steel Trip-Tick case with a DLC-treated case barrel, it features a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, a stepped stainless steel bezel, a luminous ‘RAF Blue’ matte dial with applied indices and an outer ‘railroad’ minute track, a matching feuille handset, and a date window at 6:00. Powered by the automatic BE-92 AE chronometer-certified movement, it comes paired to a signed, black leather strap with a signed, stainless steel pin buckle. Accompanied by its factory goodies and dating to the late 2010s, this is a hell of a watch for the money — the type of timepiece appreciated by both connoisseurs and newbies alike. Try it on for size!
