The 16610 is also the last reference Submariner Date to use the classically proportioned tapered 39mm Oyster case. This particular A-Serial example dates to circa 1999 and features an outstanding, professionally refurbished holey lug Oyster case, a mint condition luminous glossy black dial, a unidirectional rotating dive timing bezel with a black insert, a signed Triplock crown, and a solid link Oyster bracelet with a signed fliplock clasp and diving extension.
