Rolex Daytona 'Silver Race'

We all know the Daytona story — that of a model that has proven to be an all-time favorite amongst collectors. Why? Rolex's brilliant motorsports chronograph is in pole position in any category, vintage or modern. This particular watch , a Reference 116509, dates to circa 2006-2007 and  features a 40mm 18k white gold Oyster case, a sapphire crystal, a matching 18k white gold Oyster bracelet with a signed Fliplock clasp with Rolexes fantastic Easylink system, and a sunburst silver 'race' dial with applied black gold Arabic indices and red accents throughout. This is no run of the mill Daytona...
