The Constellation was once Omega’s flagship model.
A contemporary to the original Speedmaster, Seamaster SM300, Railmaster and DeVille lines, the "Connie" was a popular choice during its day and age, known for its award-winning, precision movements and high-concept design. Over the years Omega produced many different Constellation models, with a wide variation in case shape and other features.
This particular example, a ladies' model, dates to the 2020s and uses a case design that clearly drew its inspiration from Gerald Genta's masterpieces — with its integrated bracelet and claw-like bezel, it bridges the gap between a pure dress watch and a luxury sports model.
Measuring 27mm in stainless steel with a diamond-set griffes ("claws") bezel, a signed crown, and a sapphire crystal, it features a white mother-of-pearl dial with applied, white gold-fashioned stars, a luminous 'alpha' handset, and a date window at 3 o'clock. Paired to a matching, integrated stainless steel bracelet and powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial calibre 8520 automatic movement, this example comes with its factory goodies.
Elegant and unassuming yet boasting a unique and beautiful dial, this supremely cool "Connie" is the ideal wrist companion for someone with well honed design sensibilities and a taste for something slightly left of center.
