Rolex Submariner Date

The recently discontinued 40m Submariner lineup was the first Submariner to feature the now-famous ceramic dive timing bezel and 'Maxi Case' configuration. Introduced in 2012, these watches have become the gold standard for steel diving watches, and was just updated slightly in September 2020. This particular watch, a Reference 116613LB, is finished in 18K yellow gold and stainless steel. With a ceramic bezel, a matching two-tone Oyster bracelet with a the fantastic Glidelock clasp, a magnified sapphire crystal, and a beautiful luminous sunburst blue dial with a matching handset, this watch offers a bit more flair than a "run-of-the-mill" Submariner - and we are into it! While admittedly not for everyone, there is something about a two-tone Submariner that, to us, just works.
