For years, BALL Watch Company has pushed the boundaries of horological heritage through its rugged Engineer Master II series. Following the widespread success of the collection, BALL is once again capturing the imagination of vintage dive watch enthusiasts with a stunning new addition: the Engineer Master II Diver Worldtime Blue on a sporty rubber strap. This chronometer-grade powerhouse draws its direct inspiration from the early compressor-case diving timepieces of the late 1950s—a golden era born in response to the surging popularity of underwater exploration in the United States, the historic homeland of BALL watches.
In the late fifties, only a water pressure-tight watch with a separate timing device could assist deep divers in safely controlling their no-decompression dive time if they wanted to go deeper or stay longer to handle the necessary decompression time at different depths, a pretty complicated system ingeniously invented by Ervin Piquerez SA (EPSA) in 1956. With today's modern technology, we no longer need this compressing system for dive watches, but today's collectors still heavily seek after its iconic dual-crown case.

For many years, BALL Watch has been pioneering designing diver's watches, primarily through its extraordinary partnership with the multiple world champion constant weight freediver Guillaume Néry. This outstanding human and technical exploit has inspired an entire range of diver's watches at the cutting edge of modern watchmaking technology. Once again, BALL Watch is proud to introduce this new "vintage designed" model into the ranks of the Engineer Master II collection, paying tribute both to the history of the watch itself and to the heritage of underwater exploration.
This timepiece seamlessly combines a resolutely vintage design with the advanced engineering of contemporary watchmaking. Refined for the modern wrist, the stainless steel case features versatile, highly wearable dimensions: a 42mm diameter, a 48mm lug-to-lug distance, and a thickness of 14.4mm. As a fresh new take on the Diver Worldtime, it is noticeably sleeker and more compact than its predecessors, offering a streamlined toughness and a significantly more comfortable wearing experience. Furthermore, its water resistance has received a massive upgrade—jumping from the predecessor's 100 meters to a true deep-diving 300 meters. True to BALL's standards, the case features impeccable finishing, blending an intricate satin brush on the top and sides with a high-polished caseback for a sharp, sophisticated contrast.
Ditching the extra 2 o'clock crown of the previous model, the Diver Worldtime opts for a clean, guarded screw-down crown at 3 o'clock. BALL has ingeniously linked the external rotating bezel to the deep blue inner ring, serving a brilliant dual purpose: it displays 24 global city time zones while simultaneously functioning as an underwater dive timer. A quick twist of the bezel aligns your dive time, while the markings glow brilliantly in the dark thanks to BALL's legendary micro gas tube technology. This seamless combination of functionality is a true marvel, beautifully bridging the gap between mid-century style and modern horological innovation.

Protected beneath the sapphire crystal, the sunburst blue dial has been thoughtfully redesigned to enhance both its personality and visual contrast. A cleaner main face, an updated minute track, larger sword hands, and vibrant accent colours breathe fresh life into this horological icon. All the applied hour blocks and semi-skeletonized sword hands are used with Ball's signature micro gas tubes - 36 tubes to be found on the watch! All these led to state-of-the-art Swiss technology enabling the watch's indications to remain visible even in the darkness of the ocean depths. A typical feature of the technical performance of BALL
