Bulova Florentine

There's just something about shape, isn't there? After all, a round watch isn't the only kind of watch out there. Indeed, many other shapes have been used to excellent effect in the horological world, from the rectangle featured throughout the Cartier Tank collection to the bold tonneau-profiled dive watches of the 1970s.  This interesting gold-filled Bulova dress watch from the 1960s is an excellent — well — case in point. Measuring 30mm in a hexagonal housing bearing a cool 'Florentine' engraved-bezel, an acrylic crystal, an unsigned crown, and a smooth bezel, it features a gold-tone dial with an outer, matching gold-tone minute track with engraved indices; a subsidiary seconds hand above 6 o'clock; and a gold 'alpha' handset. Powered by a hand-wound movement and paired to one of our Saffiano leather straps with a gold-tone pin buckle, this lovely little dress watch is perfect for both men and women. A vestige of a more elegant time, it's sure to put a smile on your face!
